My new favorite summer dessert is the lemon bar. They're sweet, a little tart, and very refreshing when they're cool. I have never tasted one until recently when I made these a couple weeks ago. One of my favorite bloggers, Cupcakes and Cashmere, posted about them and I knew they looked amazing and I had to try them. The recipe can be found here: Lemon Bars!. (In the recipe, there is an option to make either a larger or thinner lemon layer...I recommend the larger layer, probably because I like things to be sweet!)
