One of my favorite songs right now is Taylor Swift's "Enchanted." It's a beautiful ballad type song with Taylor's usual pop/country style vocals. The lyrics are so sweet, full of beautiful imagery, and tell the story of meeting someone, falling in love, and wondering if they feel the same. I love the very pretty, fairytale-esque words she uses like: enchanting, wonder-struck, and sparkling. Listen to "Enchanted" below.
This song was said to be about Adam Young, or "Owl City," another talented musician whom Taylor met in New York City after talking through email. Well, recently, Adam posted a response to Taylor on his website (http://owlcitymusic.com/vday/). He responded by singing Taylor's song with a few changes and wrote an adorable note to accompany it, which read:
"Dearest Taylor,
I'll be the first to admit I'm a rather shy boy and since music is the most eloquent form of communication I can muster, I decided to record something for you--a sort of a 'reply' to the breathtaking song on your current record. This is what I wanted so badly to tell you in person but could never quite put into words:
Everything about you is lovely. You're an immensely charming girl with a beautiful heart and more grace and elegance than I know how to describe. You are a true princess from a dreamy fairy tale, and above all, I just want you to know...I was enchanted to meet you too.
Love, Adam."
That is definitely one of the most adorable and sweetest things I've ever seen! Listen to Owl City's "Enchanted" cover below.
I just wanted to share this because I thought it was so sweet! Hope you enjoyed! Thanks so much for reading. Do you listen to Taylor Swift or Owl City? I personally love them both. Comment below and tell me what you think.
