Alcune delle mie cose preferite... (A few of my favorite things...)

I thought it would be fun to start a series where I share a few of my favorite things at the moment every once in a while.  It could be clothes, makeup, food, whatever random thing I happen to be into at the moment.  So , here they are, enjoy!  Leave a comment telling me some of your favorite things right now and follow my blog if you'd like.  :)

1.) Midi skirts!
Midi Skirts!

Midi Skirts! by PrincipesaGabriella featuring a jersey tank
I love wearing all kinds of dresses and skirts, but lately I'm loving the midi skirt trend.  If you couldn't guess, a midi skirt is longer than a mini skirt but shorter than a maxi skirt; they hit about a few inches below the knees or mid-calf, depending on the skirt.  I think they're very feminine, classy, and a little vintage looking.  I ordered a few chiffon ones online from asos.com and I can't wait to wear them when I get them.  Anyone else love these?
Here's some articles on them I like: http://www.refinery29.com/how-to-wear-midi-skirts/slideshow#slide-1

2.) My Garden

About a week ago I planted a garden in my backyard.  It was a lot of work, and I got a little sunburn, but hopefully it was worth it.  I planted tomatoes (which came from my uncle's garden and he brought the seeds from Italy, so they should be awesome!), bell peppers, hot peppers, cucumbers, basil, parsley, zucchini, watermelon, squash, and green beans.  Some of the peppers and tomatoes have already started flowering and everything should be grown by the end of July/beginning of August. :)  I love watching them grow over time, it's fascinating.  I'll probably post more pictures when things start growing.  :)  Have you ever planted anything?

3.) Peaches

My dad brought me a bunch of peaches a couple days ago.  They're so pretty and tasty!  I had to find something to do with all of them when they ripened, so I baked them into peach pies the other day...yumm!  I'll post the recipe and pictures soon if anyone's interested.

I absolutely love this website lately.  There's so much stuff that's either handmade or vintage or can be specially made for you.  I love to look through all the pretty handmade stuff, especially pretty skirts, vintage-y clothes, and jewelry.  I recently ordered some skirts that will be handmade specifically for me, which is awesome, but the sellers I bought from have so many orders, I have to wait until August to get them...oh well, hopefully it's worth it.  :)

That's all for now.  Don't forget to leave a comment telling me some of your favorite things right now and follow my blog .  :)
