Ciao dears!, I’ve missed blogging, but I haven’t had the time at all, unfortunately. I barely have time to sleep enough lately…what else is new! I have been very busy with student teaching and the class that goes with it. I do love it, but it’s just so much work and takes up all my time. The tiny amount of spare time I have, I try to spend with my sweetheart boyfriend, Dominick (yes, we’re still together <3 Yay!) and my family. I still take pictures of all my outfits (all summer and fall…lol) with the intention of finding time to blog and share them with you…but I haven’t had time. I think when I do (Student teaching is done December 14th! or maybe if I have a little time sooner) I will still post them all. It’ll be summer somewhere right?…
Anyway, the purpose of today’s post is to tell you all about a line of facial products I’ve been trying out the past couple weeks, Tilth Beauty. I received the Anti-Aging Firming Moisture Cream and Flawless Serum. I have been applying them in the morning and at night every day. I also had my mother use them as well, because since she is older than me (obviously…ha!) I figured she might benefit more from these and that would help me give a better review. First, let me tell you a little about the brand. Tilth Beauty contains no parabens, phthalates, sulfates, petroleum based products, silicones, synthetic fragrances or GMOs in their products. So, if you are concerned about putting any of those things on your skin you don’t need to worry with these products. The Anti-Aging Firming Moisture Cream is $55.00 and Flawless Serum is $62.00 and full product descriptions and Additional info is available on the TilthBeauty.com website. I realize I am only 21 years old, so you might think I don’t need to worry about anti-aging products yet…but I think it makes sense to use them early. That way it helps to keep your skin stay nicer longer and prevent future wrinkles. Of course, if you are older, it is still great for your skin to lessen the appearance of any lines or wrinkles you may have as well as make your skin more elastic.
Here are some pictures and information about of the products:
Tilth Beauty’s Anti-Aging Firming Moisture Cream
“The Anti-Aging Firming Moisture Cream will help reduced the appearance of your unwanted facial folds and lines.” If I had to choose one or the other, I love the moisturizer. It’s very thick so I only use a little bit, but it makes my skin so soft and nice.
Tilth Beauty’s Flawless Serum
“The Flawless Serum is a blend of encapsulated Retinol, Myrtle Leaf Extract and Adaptonyl® that gives skin a flawless complexion. Adaptonyl® lifts and restructures the appearance of cell barrier function, resulting in healthy, younger looking skin. Retinol (Encapsulated) – Stable retinol helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles and restores the look of UV-damaged skin. Improves the appearance of skin elasticity by 20% and the appearance of wrinkles is diminished by up to 17% after 12 weeks.” BeautyStat asked that I answer a few questions about the products in my review, so I’ll provide both my and my mother’s answers. *Were they gentle to your skin? Me: Yes, the products were gentle to my skin, which is important to me because I have sensitive skin. Mom: Yes, the products were gentle to my skin. I like that because I’m very picky about what I use on my face. *Were they non-drying? Did your skin feel more hydrated? Me: I love the moisture cream. My face feels so smooth, soft, and hydrated when using the cream. Mom: The products did not dry out my skin and my skin did feel more hydrated after using them. *Did you see results? How quickly? Me: Over the past few weeks, I’ve noticed my skin has become more moisturized and soft. Although I do not have any wrinkles, I have noticed the overall appearance of my skin is more elastic and smooth. Mom: After about 3 weeks, I have noticed a slight reduction of the appearance of some lines on my face, which is great. My skin also feels more soft and smooth. *Did it cause any breakouts? Me: No, I did not have any breakouts because of these products, which I loved, because some products do irritate my sensitive skin. Mom: No, these products did not bother my skin at all. In conclusion in case you hadn’t already guessed, I would recommend these products to women my age and older. I love the way my skin feels and looks after using them. I loved the moisture cream more so than the serum, but that may be because I do not yet really have any wrinkles or lines. I’m more of a fan of creams than serums for my face in general though. Per the updated FTC guidelines, I received the sample products with compliments from BeautyStat.com, but my review is, of course always, my own objective opinion. Pictures are from TilthBeauty.com.
