Ciao everyone! (Special hello to new readers/subscribers! Thanks!),
If you’ve read my blog for a bit, you know one of my excuses for not blogging much in the whole end of August through December period was because I was student teaching. I’ve mentioned it a few times, I believe. I absolutely loved almost every minute of it even though it was very time consuming and stressful! I was in a Kindergarten class, which was quite the challenge. A child rolling on the floor screaming while I was in the middle of a lesson was a somewhat common occurrence…ha! It was so incredibly rewarding though (maybe I’ll write more about the whole experience later…any one else a teacher out there reading this?). Anyway, a requirement of being a teacher is to dress like one: professional or business attire. Of course, I love getting dressed up, so that was my fun and necessary excuse to acquire a new businesslike wardrobe for the Fall over the summer. Enjoy my teacher outfits (most of them, I’ll post the rest later, this was already too many!) Comment below and tell me what you think. I probably shouldn't apologize anymore for the profuse amount of pictures…I can never narrow them down enough. I like them. Which outfits do you like most? Comment and let me know. Please follow my blog if you’re not already (on the right, Google friend connect!).

16.) Miss Independent!
I really liked this outfit. Of course, I like all of them, but you can always tell my favorites based on the quantity of pictures…and this is after I chose my favorite from all of them…ha! I was also particularly happy and proud of myself because these were taken after the first day I had my student teaching Kindergarten class entirely to myself. I taught everything all day every day of the week for a few months, with the supervision of my cooperating teacher (the class’ original teacher, whom was so wonderful and supportive). What I mean by having them to myself is that my cooperating teacher was at a meeting all day so I was alone with them as their sole teacher who knew them (there was also a substitute because I don’t have my degree/license yet and there are laws…but she was nice enough to just watch and let me teach/have control). It was empowering, which I guess made me feel pretty and in the mood to take lots of pictures of my “ head teacher in charge” outfit…hehe!
I look pretty damn conceited and proud of myself in these pictures too…ha! It has nothing to do with the outfit, although I think it was adorable. I had just finished my last videotaped lesson and it went super well! Yay! The Billy Goats Gruff is a pretty awesome story if you’re a five year old in case you wanted to know…they think it’s hilarious! It’s so cute to watch them giggle at the troll and when I stomped my feet as they crossed the bridge. Most importantly, the moral of the story that I taught them was a very important one: Treat people how you want to be treated. If only everyone could grasp that one like you can as an innocent child…
Again, my clothes, attitude, and the amount of pictures reflect my mood. I was happy to be almost done student teaching and on winter break. Plus, this is my favorite blazer. As much as I love pretty sparkly pinks, rich, deep, mauvy pinks, and hot pinks, baby pastel pinks will always have a special place in my heart.
Talk to you all again soon dears! Have a lovely week!
P.S.: Some of my shoes and clothes are from Kohl’s, so check out their website if you’d like: https://www.kohls.com/ They always have the cutest shoes and clothes!
