Ciao dears, Yes, I’m still posting the remainder of my summer outfits. I’ve been doing only fashion posts lately, which is one of my favorite things, but not all I intend to post. I’ll get to other things and topics soon; I just want to post all the older outfits so eventually I’ll be able to be up to date and posting outfits I’ve worn recently again. Anyway enjoy these pictures from the not so far away past. Hello to any new readers/subscribers! I appreciate you and hope you enjoy reading my blog! Comment below, tell me what you think of these outfits, which you like, which is your favorite, ask a question, or suggest something you’d like me to blog about and I’ll add it to my list. This is the last of my summer outfits…finally! Next, I’ll be adding my Fall outfits (a lot of which are teacher/business clothes) and finally winter!
1.) Flowy Mint Pleats
I wore this on a double date (my first ever…ha) with my boyfriend, my sister, and her fiancé. It was a fun time. We went out to eat at a nice pizzeria my boyfriend chose. I couldn’t decide whether I liked this outfit with or without the belt and whether or not I wanted to wear the high, sparkly, pretty, and uncomfortable shoes or the more comfy black ones. Looking back. I like it with the bet and yellow shoes better.
Here we are…being cute.
Caught my boyfriend in all his adorableness, trying to escape…ha!
Skirt: Kohl’s (Lauren Conrad Collection, I think), Top: Kohl’s, Belt: Dots, Glittery Shoes: Random shoe store (Franklin Mills Mall, Philadelphia), Bracelets & Necklace: Forever 21
2.) Daisy Duke…maybe?
These are the only jean shorts I currently own, so I figured they needed to be worn once. They’re not quite short enough to be Daisy Dukes…ha, but close enough for me. Maybe one day, I’ll lose a little more weight and get some shorter trampy shorts…ha.
Look! A smile! Lol!
love this starfish bracelet I found in Long Beach Island; it’s so summery and fun.
Top: Charlotte Russe, Shorts: No idea (they’re old but I couldn't fit in them before..), Earrings & headband: Forever 21, Shoes: Random shoes store in Franklin Mills Mall (Philadelphia), Bracelet: somewhere in Long Beach Island (NJ)
3.) High-Low Polka Dots
I adore polka dots…you may have noticed. I also like the high-low style skirts/dresses/
Skirt & Tank top: Forever 21, Necklace: Charlotte Russe, Sandals: Kohl’s, Bracelets: Forever 21
4.) Polka Dot Repeater!
I wore this dress twice this summer! I’m pretty sure I posted the first time in a previous post. I have a weird way of wearing my clothes in a cycle. I won’t wear the same things twice too close in time to each other, unless it’s something like a pair of black tights or a basic tank top or shoes that I love. There’s a weird girly code I invented for myself to follow…ha, it also depends on where I went (if anywhere) and who saw me in the clothes. Anyway, when I do wear something again, I pretty much always try to wear it differently. You’ll never catch me in the same top, skirt and shoes twice, I mean. With a summery dress, while it’s still hot can be tricky. In the winter, I can add a top sweater different colored tights, much easier and more fun. In the summer however, I have to add different belts and accessories to make it look different. I like how this belt and statement collar made the dress look; I think I did pretty well.
Dress: Target, Belt & Collar Necklace: H & M, Favorite Glitter Heels: Torrid (I wish they were comfortable…lol), Bracelets & Earrings: Forever 21
5.) The Shakespeare Skirt Returns!
This skirt is so old, it’s a little big now, but it’s a maxi skirt and who cares. I last wore it the summer before (See here to find out why I call it my Shakespeare skirt and to see how much heavier I was a year before…lol). Why have I only worn it with brown…?
Skirt: no idea?, Tank top & Necklace: Forever 21, Sandals: Kohl’s
6.) Blue & Gold w/Chunky Heels
My brother was annoyed that these shoes made me taller than him…haha! He’s grown since then though…they probably wouldn’t anymore…darn, lol!
I love the print of this dress but it’s way to short for me to wear without something underneath…or things will be showing…ha.
Dress: H & M, Leggings: Rainbow, Sandals: Kohl’s, Necklace & Bracelets: Forever 21
8.) Meet the Parents Dress!
I wore this dress once last Easter (I think…) and thought it would be the perfect dress to wear to go meet my boyfriend’s parents. I had met his mom before this (It was August btw) but this was the first time I went to his parents’ house and met them both. I wanted to look sweet and cute (because I am….mostly, ha) and appropriate. I did not wear those shoes, they were just for pictures…I wore flats.
Polka-dot Top: Ross, Tank top: Kohl’s, Skirt: Sam’s Club, Heels & Necklace: Forever 21, Bracelet: Brighton (gift from my aunt)
P.S.: Some of my shoes and clothes are from Kohl’s, so check out their website if you’d like: https://www.kohls.com/ They always have the cutest shoes and clothes!
