Ciao dears!,
I know I said today was going to be a fashion post with a tutu, but I got the days confused. That one will be up tomorrow. Anyway, here’s a pretty nail tutorial. I was bored one day and decided to paint pretty roses on my nails. I forgot to take step by step pictures, but I’ll tell you how I did it anyway. I got so many compliments on these and it’s pretty easy. You just need a little time and patience.
Things You’ll Need:
White Nail Polish
2 Shades of Pink Nail Polish (a lighter and a darker one)
A Light Green Polish
Clear Nail Polish/Topcoat
Toothpicks
Steps:
1.) Apply a coat of white polish to all of your nails. Let dry for about 10-15 minutes. Apply a second coat and let them dry.
2.) Work on one nail at time. Use the nail polish brush to make a few small circles with the light pink polish.
3.) While the light pink circles are still wet, add a few tiny dark pink dots onto each light pink circle.
4.) Use a toothpick to swirl the two colors together, creating the pretty roses. They don’t need to be perfect, just try.
5.) Use a toothpick with the green polish to creates leaves on each flower. Swipe the toothpick out from the rose, creating a thin leaf shape.
6.) Repeat the process with each nail.
7.) Wait about 15-20 minutes and then apply a clear nail polish on top to seal the design.
Tada! Aren’t they fun! You can alter the colors using the same technique for Fall/Winter. Blue flowers would be pretty too.
