I love Valentine’s Day! <3





Ciao sweethearts!,
        So, next week is Valentine’s Day!  A wonderfully sweet holiday, even if you don’t have a Valentine.  I’ve always loved it, even when I didn’t have a boyfriend.  Of course, I was jealous of girls who did, but I wasn’t one of those girls who hates the day because of that.  This year, I am lucky enough to have a wonderful sweetheart of a boyfriend to spend the day with.  He even made plans for us like a month in advance…how sweet!  We’ll be going out to dinner at a nice Italian restaurant I’ve ben dying to go to for a while and have heard good things about.  It’ll be the first time I had an actual nice thing to do on Valentine’s Day…yay!!  Last year was not quite what I think Valentine’s Day with a boyfriend should be…

        Anyway, I love everything about the holiday: the hearts, the pretty pink and reds, cutesy decorations, chocolates, heart shaped everything!, pretty and tasty Valentine themed baked goods, pretty jewelry, cute little teddy bears and stuffed animals, kisses, holding hands, and LOVE of course! <3 I just love love and falling in love and being in love!  My mom and I spent a half hour wandering the Valentine's Day aisles in the store the other day..hehe, it’s so fun, so much cuteness!  I saw so many cute little things.  I adore those little pastel colored conversation heart candies, they’re sweet and remind me of being little eating them in school on Valentine’s Day, while wishing a cute boy would give me a Valentine…ha.  I also saw so many baking supplies, cute little heart shaped cookie cutters, cupcake liners, etc.  I’d like to make my boyfriend (and myself!) like 10 million cute sweet little baked goods if I had the time.  I will be making him one or two though.  Smile  My perfect Valentine's Day would probably include wearing a pretty red or pink  frilly dress, my sharply dressed boyfriend, a nice dinner somewhere pretty, chocolate in some form or other, pretty flowers like red and/or pink and white roses, those little cheesy candy hearts, ha, and a maybe a pretty present in a pretty little box with a ribbon, something sparky or shiny preferably…
